jastado is coming. Your city decides where sparks fly first.

The new dating app that handles the awkward questions before the first date, so the date itself can be all chemistry. And cities are racing to get it first.

Two people sitting by a fountain in a city park, turned toward each other and smiling.

jastado is a new dating app, and it opens one city at a time. Where the first sparks fly is up to the people on the waitlist, and the friends they bring along.

Why we started jastado

We have used dating apps ourselves. Not for long, but long enough to notice how little they told us about the people we were seeing.

Interests matter. Someone who loves hiking, coffee and dogs might be exactly your kind of person, and shared passions are a big part of feeling aligned. But interests alone could not tell us how someone handles an argument, whether they want children, or whether money is for saving or for spending. And some of the basic filters we cared about most sat behind a subscription.

Those are the questions that decide whether two people can build a life together. On most apps you find the answers in month three, six or nine. Usually over dinner. Usually too late.

We know how much easier life is with the right person next to you, and how much a family can mean when you build it together. So we set out to build the app we could not find.

What jastado does differently

jastado asks the big questions first: family, money, home life, health and values. You answer them, choose which answers you could live with in a partner, and mark what matters most to you.

Every question is a small test of one part of life together. Do you split the chores the same way? Do you picture the same kind of Sunday? Do you share a hobby? Do you have something in common? Put enough of them together and you see where your lives line up before the first date, not after the first fight. The flirting is still your job. We just make sure you aim it at someone who fits.

We build jastado with integrity. We want an app people love because it makes them happier and helps them find a life partner. That is how we measure success: people who found their person and no longer need us.

So jastado is not a pay-to-win dating app. Money does not buy visibility here. You can spend a fortune on jastado, and your profile will appear in other people's results on the same terms as the profile of someone on the other side of the world who has never paid a cent.

Searching, filtering and seeing how you match are free. Dealbreaker filters stay free forever. Finding someone who fits should not depend on your card details.

Why we open city by city

A dating app is only as good as the people near you. Open everywhere at once, and the first members walk into an empty room. Nobody wants to be the first guest at the party, alone by the snacks.

So we arrive one city at a time, with enough people already waiting that the first week feels like a crowd worth meeting.

We do not pick the order. The city with the most people on the waitlist gets jastado first. Think of it as a friendly rivalry between cities, with bragging rights for the winner.

How to get your city to the front

Join the waitlist and pick your city. It is free, and every confirmed signup counts for that city.

Then bring people with you: your single friends, the friend who swears they are done with dating apps, maybe even that cute neighbor from the bakery queue. When someone joins with your link and confirms, you both get a Star. A Star is more than a like, and you spend your Stars once jastado opens in your city. Sign up with the email you will use in the app, so your Stars land on the right profile.

Does your friend live in another city? That counts too. When they join, their city climbs, and you both still get a Star.

The line moves, and so can you

Every city has a private opening line. When jastado opens there, the people near the front get in first.

That line is not fixed. Each friend from your city who joins through your link and confirms moves you forward. Everyone else can do the same, so your place can climb and slip while your city grows. Standing still is allowed. It is just slower.

The people who bring in the most members show up on their city's builders board, without names. Bring enough people and you lock in a seat in the first wave.

Your own place stays private. The public race is between cities, not people.

The scoreboard is covered, on purpose

Right now the city board is covered. You can see that the race is on, but not the numbers.

Yes, we know them. No, we are not telling yet. When we lift the cover, we will announce it here. From then on, everyone can see how many people are waiting in each city and who is ahead.

Write a question for the app

The questionnaire is the heart of jastado, and we do not want to write it alone. Once you confirm your email, you can send us the question you wish every dating app asked, with four answers people could honestly pick.

We read every one. The strongest go into the shared catalog that members answer in the app. Not every question makes it, but part of the questionnaire will come from people on this waitlist. Yours could be the one that saves two people a year of guessing.

A good question is about life. "How should household chores be divided in a relationship?" works. "Pineapple on pizza?" starts a great argument, but it will not tell you whether you want the same life.

See you in your city

Our mission is a less lonely world. We want to bring people together, one match at a time, so that more people have someone to share the small moments with, make decisions with and, if they both want it, start a family with. Every pair that finds each other on jastado is two people who no longer face life alone. And it spares them the year of finding out they wanted different lives.

So join the waitlist, pick your city and bring the people you know. Your city could be the first one we open. We bring the matches. You bring the charm.
