Terms of Service

Welcome to jastado ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website (jastado.com), waitlist and early-access services, and jastado mobile or web applications (the "Services"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

jastado helps people build wealth, manage spending, explore compatibility-based matching, and plan their financial future alone or with a partner. Services may include waitlist and marketing pages, account registration, Match features, Spend and Wealth tools, bank linking through Plaid, and related functionality. Features may change, launch in phases, or vary by region.

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you are legally permitted to use the Services in your jurisdiction.

You may provide information (such as name, email, or phone) to join the waitlist or create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it current. By joining the waitlist or using the Services, you may receive emails or messages about jastado, early access, and related offers where permitted; you can unsubscribe at any time. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, app PIN, and devices, and for activity under your account.

If you link a financial institution, you authorize us and our provider Plaid to access account information you select for Spend, Wealth, and related features. Your use of linked accounts is also subject to your financial institution's terms. Disconnecting a bank in Settings ends our access and removes associated imported data per our Privacy Policy and Data Retention Policy.

jastado provides informational and organizational tools only. We do not provide investment, tax, legal, or relationship counseling advice. Projections, plans, and balances are for illustration and personal organization; past performance does not guarantee future results.

Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Data Retention and Deletion Policy. By using the Services, you consent to our collection and use of information as described therein, including communications and analytics that help us operate and grow jastado, subject to your opt-out and other rights.

You may stop using the Services or delete your account at any time in Settings (where available) or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or to protect users and the platform. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Third-Party Services. Our Services rely on third-party providers (e.g., Google Forms for the waitlist, Plaid, hosting, identity verification, or payment processors). While we select providers carefully, we are not responsible for their acts, omissions, or failures outside our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, jastado shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Services.

Our total liability for claims arising from the Services shall not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD 100), except where liability cannot be limited by applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which jastado establishes its legal entity, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page or communicated by email or in-app notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
